The retirement plan offered by the University Corporation at CSU Monterey Bay is a defined contribution plan (TIAA/CREF). The Corporation provides a 10% employer contribution, with a six month waiting period and immediate vesting upon eligibility.
Eligibility
Eligible employees: Benefited regular full-time and regular part-time employees.
Eligibility date: The first of the month after fulfilling six months of service.

CREF = College Retirement Equities Fund
