Otter Sports Center and Otter Aquatics Center

The Otter Sports Center houses a 10,000-square-foot gymnasium available for basketball, volleyball, badminton, indoor soccer, aerobics, dance, sports games and special events. There are also three racquetball courts, a 2,500-square-foot fitness room with cardiovascular and weight training equipment, and locker/shower/ sauna facilities. Vending machines with snacks and beverages are on site. Please contact the Otter Sports Center at 831.582.3031 for the latest information.

The Otter Aquatics Center is an outdoor heated 25 meter by 25 yard eight lane swimming pool that is NCAA short course swimming and diving compliant. The pool's depth ranges from 3 1/2 feet to 13 feet deep and and includes two diving boards, a 1 meter and a 3 meter. Lap swim, open swim, and swim lessons are a few of the programs offered. Monterey Sports Center Corporate Discount available to CSUMB employees

CSUMB has partnered with the Monterey Sports Center to offer CSUMB and University Corporation employees a 10% discount on a 1-year Adult Extended Use Pass (EUP). To take part in this benefit, simply present your CSUMB Staff/ Faculty Otter Card to a Monterey Sports Center staff member when applying for membership. Campus Health Center

The mission of the CSUMB Campus Health Center is to provide the highest standard of medical service while encouraging patients to be active participants in their health care. The Campus Health Center is primarily student focused. The center's staff includes a broad range of health professionals who have expertise in primary care and women's health services. All clinical staff are licensed or registered in California

The Campus Health Center is available to:

  • All full-time or part-time CSUMB students who have registered and paid on-campus health fees
  • CSUMB faculty and staff
  • The dependents of CSUMB students, faculty, and staff
  • Local residents and visitors to the university

Some of the services provided at the clinic are:

  • Medical services
  • Communicable disease control
  • Women's health services
