The University Corporation at Monterey Bay was established in 1994 to support and advance the vision and educational, research, and community service objectives of CSUMB. The Corporation is a 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation and a recognized auxiliary of the CSU system. An integral component of the university, the principal activities of the Corporation include operation of the housing program for students, faculty, and staff; commercial services, conferencing, and other projects with revenue-producing potential; administration of research grants and contracts; and fund development activities.
